Wave your Hands in The Air!

This morning Nile Room learnt some sign language. A woman came to Nile Room, her name was  Cathy. She taught us some signs. We played a sign game. We signed animals, colours, happy and sad.

Cathy had lots of posters; like, don't like and love.

Cathy gave us a little booklet. It was about sign language. The signs for the whole alphabet are on it.

Waving you hands in the air means clapping in the deaf community.

Shay Interviews Ms Kelly

Ms Kelly went to Melbourne in the school holidays. 

She flew on two planes to get there. On the way back she flew in three planes.

She went to see her brother. She was quite tired!

She helped remove floor tiles and concrete, played handball, did some family history research and watched lots of movies in a home cinema.
